It’s Summertime at Water Street District

Summer at Water Street District is here. Water Street District - the walkable, mixed-use community in downtown Dayton, Ohio - is happy to announce a summer filled with activities for all ages. Featured events include Party at the Plaza in partnership with the Dayton Dragons, extended downtown Dayton DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Areas) hours, Water Street District’s Pint Path Passport, Dayton Dragons home games and more.

“We’re looking forward to Water Street District serving as the go-to destination for visitors to enjoy this summer,” said Brent Crawford, founder and principal at Crawford Hoying, the owner and developer of Water Street District.

Located in the heart of downtown Dayton, Water Street District has programmed a fun summer line-up including:

• Art in the City: August 5 | 1:00PM - 7:00PM

With live performances and creative classes, indulge in the arts of downtown Dayton during the AES Ohio Summer in the City Art in the City event.

• Downtown Dayton DORA: Ongoing | 12:00pm - 12:00am

Downtown Dayton has extended the DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Areas) boundaries and hours so that you can enjoy your brew from one of many locations such as Lock 27 Brewing and Moeller Brew Barn, even after the sun sets.

• Party at the Plaza: September 8 | 5:30PM - 7:30PM

Break out the baseball gloves and hats for a Dayton Dragon’s tailgate like no other, featuring free fun with live performances, outdoor games, inflatables, balloon artists, free goodies and more.

• Dayton Dragons Home Games: Through September

Take me out to the ball game! Throw on your baseball jerseys, grab a DORA cup from one of Water Street District’s breweries, and sit behind home plate as the minor league baseball team, Dayton Dragons, go head-to-head with their competitors at Day Air Ballpark.

• Water Street District Pint Path: Ongoing

Explore downtown Dayton as you hop to each restaurant or bar, grab a pint, and earn stamps as you go. Visit all 12 stops whenever you wish and turn in your completed passport to receive a prize.
